Transmission bang under hard acceleration
I installed a TransGo kit in my 700R4 a few months back and ever since the install whenever I hit the gas hard I get two bangs/pops (in quick sequence). It feels like wheel hop but it comes from under the transmission tunnel.
Under normal driving (normal acceleration) all is OK.
Any idea what this might be? Is it possible it is the rubber mount? It look a little messed up.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Same as everybody else when their car does this (they all do....): transmission mount.
Go change it and tell us if it helped.
If you don't want to change it again in a few weeks, get a polyurethane one from Energy Suspension or Prothane.

I changed one out every month for a few months and then bought and energy suspension poly mount. Haven't been able to break it yet.

Thanks. Will do.
I can wait to order one, it's not my daily driver plus when I don't hit the gas hard everything is fine.

I got mine from autozone. Considering it's the same mount for 20 years, they have them in stock. At least, all of the stores in my area has them in stock.
