"popping" from the drive train tunnel

So I was lined up against a honda the other day, and was like what a piece I'm gonna show him a little somthin somthin... but to my chagrin, I mashed the pedal, and two horrendous "pops" rang out from the transmission/ torque arm/ driveshaft area and my performance bogged... I still beat the honda but only by a half a car length. Now evertime I hit the gas hard, or let off of it after brisk acceleration these stange noises happen.

What is going on with my poor camaro? How long until I break something? I don not think it's the u-joints becasue it is not that consistent!

Okay, figured it out... My car has no rear transmission mount. It looks like there is at least supposed to me a mount... I hope, currently the tailshaft is just chillin on the cross memeber :-(

Your mount broke in half. Get a polyurethane one. The stock rubber ones are garbage.

Car: projects.......
These cars are konw for tearing the factory rubber trans mounts out. The suspension design kills factory mounts.

Actually I take that back, I was messing around with a 2005 SRT-10 Ram... I saw nothing but tailgate and smoke. I'll take that though, if I beat out a 500 horse monster he's got some issues
