mini spool????good or bad???
I have talked to a few people and they said that a mini spool would be good for my 91 z28.does anyone have a mini spool installed or does anyone know if it's a good idea to put one in,my car is mostly street use?

i dont believe a minispool is a good idea for street use, as long as you go straight its fine, but when turning the tire s will drag/squeak giving you tire wear issues and probably handling issues... they make locker systems that install like a spool but have a wratcheting action that allows wheels to spin at diferent speeds when turning. about 450$ summit or jegs. if you interested keep in m ind that there are 2 versions, on for off road trucks and one for street applications... thinking about getting 1 myself

Spools are designed for drag racing only. Mini spools are a poor man's full spool but are mainly used for dirt track racing. Any spool or mini spool are never recommended for any street use.
You're not going to find a spool for the 7.5" 10 bolt and mini spool selections are very limited. I know there's a 26 spline version available and a 28 spline version "might" be available.
Your 91 will have 28 spline axles.
