Kolene steels

Can you mix kolene and non-kolene steels in the same clutch pack?

Just for the purpose of getting the clearance right. I was wondering if kolene-treated and plain steels have different friction properties that might dictate that they can't be mixed in the same stack.

they do have slightly different properties, but they obviously won't be on the same surface together, so it won't hurt anything. - I've done exactly what you're doing in a couple builds, no issues.
