4.10s too much for 700r4 and my cam?

Car: 1992 Firebird
Engine: forged 357
Transmission: 700r4, 2200-2400 stall, vette servo
Axle/Gears: stock pegleg 2.73 drum (temp)
4.10s too much for 700r4 and my cam?
My current cam is 220/230, .544/.544, 112
seems like it would benefit from a smaller gear ratio like 3.42 over 4.10
also, I know it's been asked, but what mods if any are required to put an LT1 rear in, besides the brakes and parking brake?

Going to depend on your tire size. You going to drag race it? If you're looking for the optimum performance at the track, you're going to sacrifice some drivability. For example, I ran the math and for my car to trap the RPM that I wanted, I needed 28" tires and 4.10's. I'm not going to drive around town with a TH400 and 4.10's so it's got 3.73's. It doesn't run as fast as it 'could', but it's a bracket car so who cares.
Optimum rear end gear ratio formula is as follows with RPM being desired trap RPM and trans ratio being 1:1 ;
(RPM x Tire Height)/ (MPH x 336.136 x Trans Ratio x Converter Slip % )
Converter slip will be ;
[(RPM x Tire Height) / (rear ratio x trans ratio x mph x 336) -1] x 100
