How much is involved for a BW T10 swap
I came across a borg-warner super t10, that is in a first gen camaro. It's a bullet proof tranny and i wanted to put it in my 86 Trans Am. I was wondering how much work it would be or what parts i would need for the swap. Will i need things like driveshaft, torquearm, a different tailshaft? Thanks for the help.

Yes, all of the above.
And the unique 82-only bell housing (or an aftermarket one), and the unique 82-only linkage, and the 82-83 linkage style pedals.
It's quite a tall order to swap one of those in.

The good news though - is that the '82 stuff can still be found if you really want it. There were two 4-spd trans available in '82. The T10 (which I have) and the Saginaw. AFAIK, both 4-spds used the same bellhousing and linkage parts, although the shifters are different, and the clutch might be too (different input shafts).
Look in the Parts F/S section, and I bet you could find most of what you need. I got lucky and got a T10 from an '82 Trans Am, and almost all the parts (minus torque arm) to install it.
