Car: 82 trans am,Project

Engine: lt1

Transmission: 4l60e

Axle/Gears: 3,27

TH 700 Swap

My 4l60 tranny is blown and I got another tranny here, but it is from a van with a 6,2 diesel... It is also a 4l60...Can I use this transmission without doing anything to it? I will replace my new converter with 2000 in stallspeed in it.The tranny looks exakt the same at the outside...anyone that knows???

Car: 84 454 monte, 89 formula, 86 camaro

Engine: the bigger the better

Transmission: 700/4L60 in everything

Axle/Gears: wish they were all 4.10's or better

change the governor also or it will upshift way too soon.
