Spicer part number for TKO slip yoke u-joint?

Like the title says, whats the part number (spicer, neapco, etc.) for this when using the regular old fashioned steel driveshaft.

The one I was shipped has the incorrect cross and carries the part number 5-3022X for spicer. The correct one should have the standard cross for the steel driveshaft and 2 run of the mill inside locking caps with 2 of the outside locking caps for the slip yoke. In theory, a trip to the autoparts store should fix it.

Can you measure the distances between cap faces and the diameter of the caps?

Yes, I did, and Neapco number 2-1569 or Spicer number 5-212X appear to be the correct parts dimensionally. Used in about a zillion GM truck apps. Have to pick one up and try it.

Hmmm... in their catalog it was the right part. The part I got had four of the smaller outer locking caps. Dont know if they just packed the wrong part or what. Oh well. With the addition of the correct two caps from the previous u joint it fit fine.

The outer locking caps are probably 1310 like on the aluminum shaft instead of the 3R on the steel shaft.

According to their catalog it should have had 2 1.063 outside lockup and 2 1.125 inside lockup caps. Instead it had 4 of the 1.063 caps. *Shrug*

The 5-3022X is what you needed, but it sounds like you got a 5-153X.

Thats the one I got, according to the box. But, it wasnt the right one for the steel drive shaft. The cross was too narrow. According to Neapcos catalog, those I posted above should have been the right ones. But, the one I got had teh wrong caps.
