98-02 Aluminum Driveshafts

Am interested in getting an aluminum driveshaft for my 86 Iroc. Have heard 98-02 LS1 camaros/firebirds came with one that will fit our f-bodys. Found some sites to buy them new.

Has anyone done this conversion? Was it successfull?
Were there any benefits?

The first link above has one that is 3.5" the other two links are 3". Will either one fit?

Does anybody have any other links?
Has anyone bought one online?

Are there any other brands available?

If you have any ansewers to these questions please post

Thanks

iroc out of comish untill i get a new driveshaft

Just pull one from an LS1, they're like $100 and do the same thing.

I'm pretty sure any driveshaft shop can balance them, but I'd call first
