cant figure out what year of 700r4 i have

i bought a 700 a while ago. Can't figure out what year it is. I'm trying to find the "upper edge of the tranny pan edge rail". Its not a 4 digit code, and the first digit is not a digit, it is a letter.

The servo cover has 87 stamped on it but it also has two other numbers stamped below the 87. Looks like 19 or 18.

It has a 4 prong connector and an electric vss connector.

Car: 1991 S10 pickup 2700lbs
Engine: 4.3L Z TBI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.08 7.625"
theres a flat spot on it somewhere with stamped in numbers the first digit i think is the last digit of the year

or do you just want to know i its 87up or 82-86 ?

87-up= casting line shped like a rainbow over the entire area where the cooling lines connect to

87-up are the best ones

sounds liek you have an 89 or 90-up one by the VSS,

but who knows without seeing stamping code off it
