Car: 84 T/A, 87 iroc-z, 86 turbo z-28.
Engine: 5.7, 5.7, 6.6
Transmission: t-5, 700r4,manual shift th350
Axle/Gears: 3.73, 3.52, 3.23
700r4 to 4L60e in a 87 Iroc-z
Is this swap pratical? and where do i find a ecm for the tranny (down shift, accel., economy, and 4 th gear lock out) after market or diy wiring. Your thoughts are welcome. If it looks too complex i got a 4L60e for sell.

Transmission: several, mostly broken
Both TCI and GM Performance Parts sell stand-alone transmission controllers that will work.
If you want to do the DIY route, you can also use one of the later TBI PCMs from about '94-'95 or so. (16197427, 16196395, and 16156930, I think). There's quite a bit of stuff over in the DIY PROM forum regarding the $0D code.
