Car: 1992 Camaro RS 25th Anniversary
Engine: 3.4L v6 with a t3/t4 Turbo
Transmission: T-5 Conversion
Axle/Gears: 3.23 SLP Limited Slip
700r4, what all did it come in

would a transmission outtve an 80s model S10 with a 2.8 swap into a thirdgen camaro?

if you can work out the torque arm details, like aftermarket parts, and over come the differant bolt patterns on the block to trans.

V6 S10 should bolt up to a V6 Camaro shouldn't it?

Use a tailshaft from a f-body 700 on the S10 700 and it should be all that needs to be done.

i dont really know if it would work but to me it sounds like it would...im actually gonna be going the oposite, i have an extra fbod transmission sittin around and the tranny in my parents s10 went south so was gonna swap them for a bday present if it would work

Tailshaft housing is what I meant to say, the tailshaft should be the same.

if you have a 60* trans and a 60* v6 it'll bolt up, if you have a 90*v6 and a SBC it'll bolt up, you still need to figure out the torque arm

Since you are putting the f-body tranny in the S10, you just have to trade the tailhousing off the old S10 and put it on the F-body one. If it is a 2.5 4 cyl. or a 2.8 V6 two wheel drive, it can use a 700R4 from a F-body's 2.5, strongly don't use that one, 2.8 V6, or 3.1 V6. Which are all 60 degrees.

If the S10 was a 4.3 V6, you would have to use one from a V8 F-body because they are 90 degrees.

If still confused, look at the bellhousing. Does it have the same bolt pattern? If it does, then use it.
