700R4 swap to350 turbo
a friend is planning to install the TPI set-up from a 88 IROC into a 67 SS camaro with a 350 turbo trans, the car has the L98 longblock now, we are now going to install the TPI, so, my question is, what do you guys do for a kick-down cable with the TPI and a 350 turbo?

The kickdown cable should mount in the same bracket and everything that the 700r4's TV cable. Supposedly the "new style" kickdown cables look exactly like a TV cable.
I have been looking for a "new style" kickdown cable but cant find it.

Oh I forgot about that. It is much further forward than the standard stuff.
Supposedly you don't even have to connect the kickdown cables on th350's.

Car: too many ...
Yeah you dont need one but its a good idea for a daily driver (might forget to downshift when you wanna hammer it). All it does is downshift the trans to the correct gear when you floor it. If the trans is in too high of a gear for your speed then the trans will slip. Any style kickdown cable will work as long as its the right length. I bought the Lokar kickdown for my TPI application and it fit perfectly, but I didnt end up installing it because the internals of my TH350 is missing the kickdown bracket and I couldnt find one in time. So I've been running with no kickdown for a while. I'm probably gonna install it soon so I dont feel like I wasted money (that Lokar cable is expensive)

I am going to order a few different kickdown cables from work and see if I can find a shorter one.
