ratchet shifters
So I was thinking about getting a ratchet shifter for my camaro it has a th 700r4. My question is what is everyone’s favorite shifter? I no most will say get a B&M mega shifter but if there is a aftermarket or oem shifter out there, that is just as good as a B&M and is cheaper I would rather get it. so let me no guys what ur opinions on ratchet shifters are.

I used to use a Megashifter but didn't like it. I now use a Pro Ratchet shifter. The shifter handle is always in the same position. No matter if the tranny is in Park or pulled down into first the handle always returns the the center position.

Yea I looked at that Pro Ratchet shifter, but I think it kind looks ugly. Can u put a new shifter grip on it? Maybe then I would like it but as far as style goes right now I really think the mega-shifter looks good. I also like the Quicksilver shifter because all u have to do is lift the ****/stick assembly and move it forward into position. Do u guys have any opinions on the Quicksilver?

I use the Tee handle from the Megashifter on my Pro Ratchet because the handle has the line lock button on it.
The only time I need to use the lockout release is when shifting from neutral to reverse. It only requires your thumb to push it forward to unlock it. No other levers to push or pull when doing any shifting.
