Just food for thought, so here goes.

A new company out of Australia has developed a locker for mainly
off road trucks and SUVs called the Aussie Locker.
Super strong and easy to install.

Ordered a rear locker for my other halfs Explorer and probably
going to get the front locker also after I switch over to manual
hubs, for good reason.
YA, the other half drives a Ford !

Got to talking and E-Mailing him, and brought up the subject of our third gen 9 bolts and how were an Australian company before
Auburn bought them out. He said he would check it out and E-mailed me back and said he had talked to the engineering department and said, Was doable only if enough interest in the unit.

Might check out thier website under Aussie Lockers or Torque masters. These things are designed for big tires and high horsepower.

They don't make parts for our 9-Bolts.
They are a new company out of Australia, making lockers for
SUVs and trucks, and said would produce them for our nine
bolts if enough interest shown.

These lockers look to be pretty strong, as enginnered to handle
big tires and high horsepower.
