What will vette servo and shift-kit do for me?

Performance wise? Will it knock down my 1/4 time by anything? What about driveability and gas mileage?

If it does nothing much, then I'm not going to spend the money on it.

The Corvette servo will only make a difference if your car doesn't already have a performance servo. The servo in my 86 TA shifts at 5500. My friend had a 90 TA that the transmission was rebuilt and the guy put in a servo from a passenger car (non-performance) and it shifted right around 4800. The Corvette one might let the transmission shift a little higher but not enough to make a difference you can feel.

The servo has nothing to do with the shift points, the centrifugal govenor in the rear of the tranny controls that.

I have a B&M stage 2 shift kit and a Corvette servo from Probuilt and they will definately make a difference. It will bark the tires in second gear and feels like someone has rear ended you. When my car was an auto the corvette servo gained me 3 tenths at the track and was the best 20 bucks/20 minutes(to install) I ever spent.

if the car was originally a 350 TPI car, it already has a corvette servo. i'm not sure about the 305, but they may have come with them too.
