T5 shift fork and rod

hi, I just got an 83 Z28 with a 5spd. I went to adjust the clutch and found that someone replaced the shift fork end of the rod with an air tool piece. Its supposed to be some kind od wsivel end on there or something???? Is this piece still avaliable, what is it called?
Anyone know where I can get it?
Thanks

I think its just supposed to be some kind of ball end. As there is a "Pocket" in the shift fork for it to sit in but nothing for that particular style rod end you have in the pic. It may help for me to tell you that its a mechanical linkage only type clutch. No hydraulics at all in the system.
