700r4 cooling line size

I need some help. I want to replumb all of the cooling lines from the tranny to the Perma cool external cooler to the rad. tranny cooler with rubber hose and eliminate the hard lines.

Can anybody tell me the correct size and type of fitting to the 700r4 tranny and the correct size and type of fitting to the radiator tranny cooler connections!

THANKS!
Craig

It's the same size on both sides, radiator and trans.

Thanks!--that made this project much easier to work with!

The lines to the rad were non existant when I purchased the car--been just running through the VERY LARGE Perma cool external cooler, which is why I did not have a "point of refrence" to start from.

Now i just have to locate some "hose barb" fittings that size--guess I'll start with Summit unless anybody has a better suggestion.

For the rubber tubing, should I just use gas line hose, or is there a better hose (without getting into the braidded steel tubing--money I do not have!)

THANKS,
CRAIG

You should be able to find something at a parts store or industrial supplier near you that carries Weatherhead fittings. If not I believe a Permacool 15165 will work.
