Swapping 4L60E in place of the 700R4

Car: 1992 Z28 and 1995 Silverado
Engine: 5.7 TPI and 5.7 TBI to TPI convert
Transmission: 700R4 and 4l60E
Axle/Gears: G80 3.23 and open 3.42
Swapping 4L60E in place of the 700R4

The speedometer is electrically controlled from the VSS like the 4L60E isnt it? I will be needing a new transmission very soon (2-3 gear shift very slow). A swap to E might be interesting. Im sure chip burning shouldnt be much of a big deal.

Transmission: 6 spd Manual
Axle/Gears: Dana 44, 3:45:1
You'd need a separate transmission controller. The programming isn't in our ECM's for 4L60E's...
