what Rpm's and speed should a v6-700r4 shift at WOT?
Hey Everyone,
I am ready to kill my 89 2.8 Fbird, she has 77k and I had the trans rebuilt, after they replaced the Tv Cable with a aftermarket one and it had no kick down.
Then they installed a Gm Tv cable, shiftswas better (4,000 rpms) and she will kick into 2nd gear.
If I recall before the rebuilt she always held right up to the 5500 before shifting!
I noticed that when its a cold start she will shift into 2nd@wot@4500-5000 rpm's. but once shewarms up its back down to the 4,000K range again.
She feels tons lower than she was before (what a heartbreaker!)
Any Ideal's the Tv cables been adjusted and adjusted and readjusted. whats teh range I should be getting@WOT?
Thanks for the help
Donnie H.
