higher stall for th-2004r

i have a th-2004r and i can get a good deal having it rebuilt($75+ parts) and i was wondering what the highest stall they could get as a stock rebuild type. could you use one from a v6 or something?

i just posted some info on converters in another post, but here it is again. i can get a 2200 factory stall for 250 bucks that will work with the 700r4 or the 2004r tranny. if your car is a six cylinder, then the stall will be 2000 rpm. gm sells this converter for 320 bucks. im not sure how long i can get them for this price, so let me know if your interested. comes with 6 month warranty.
