Torque Convertor, is it going bad or is it something else?
Ok,
Now for a new problem, over the weekend I installed a shift kit in my tranny, it was the B&M Transpak, I was trying to eliminate the large RPM loss on shifts, if I held it to 5000rpms, when it shifted it would drop 2000rpm's, the problem with that was it was like it was dragging on the clutches before engaging. Well, now the tranny in OD holds all gears to at least 3000 before shifting and second gear holds to almost 4000! If I manually go thru the gears its better but still holds the gears to long. Also, when decelerating it automaticlly downshifts into second at around 30mph wether I want it to or not. I also have had a whine kinda like if I were running a gear drive since I had this car. Would the torque convertor be causing these problems or is it the tranny that's the problem? Please help!

Doesn't sound like converter. The whine could be your Rear End, and it sounds like you have your TV cable too loose.

Twilightoptics,
I thought that might be it so I readjusted the TV cable and it still did the same thing, so I played around going tighter and looser all produced the same result to a varying degree, going looser still held 2nd gear but 3rd and 4th shifted almost at the same time. By the way this is a 200-r4 tranny.

I would try tightening it.... slide the plunger back away from the throttle body/throttle linkage.
Should be the same 700 vs 200 they do the same thing. Maybe go through your Skift Kit Instructions again and see if you may have missed a step, call B&M?
