Muncie 4 speed in a trans AM

My buddy is buying a 86 Trans Am tomorrow with a 305 5 speed set up. He is planning to upgrade to a 350 and would like to use a 4 speed manual gear bow like a muncie or saginaw. Is this possible and what mod would have to be done?

I dont know specifics, but you would have to use early stlyle pedals like the 82 and maybe 83 had. The manual transmissions after that(t5's) used hydrolic clutch unlike the older trannies.

if you have a muncie sell it to someone that really needs it and buy a modern trans. you'd need to over come the hydrolic to manual linkage, figure out the torque arm mount or go aftermarket.
