shift linkage bracket...

where does this damn thing bolt onto the trany? Went I did the 305 to 350 swap i wasn't the one under the car to disconnect all of that stuff. Friend that did it can't be found. From the haynes book it looks like you take 2 bolts out of the trans pan and bolt it there..but the bracket is too short.

Oh it's a TH350..and it's the same one that was bolted to the 305

i have same problem going from 200C to th350, the bracket doesnt even fit to pan, only one bolt will but shifter bracket way off..


not good..

this was supposed to be direct swap minus the torque arm bracket

anyone ?

Engine: 305 roller motor
Transmission: th350
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.08

you will have to weld on a extra piece of metal on and drill a hole for the th350 bolt spacing also you will need some spacers for the bolts because the trans pan flange interfiers with the bracket make sure the bracket is positioned toward the rear of pan
