what does it look like inside a limited slip diff. cover?
I popped my diff cover off my 84 Z28, with the 6KM axle code (3.73 posi) i was just wondering what it should look like if it is truely a limited slip like it says. Can anyone gimme a pic of limited slip and open or tell me how i can tell the diffrence please? thanks I cant spin the tires atm to tell either.

This is what it should look like inside. If you don't see this, but only 4 gears, then's it's an "unlimited slip" carrier, i.e. open.
I personally don't trust the "codes". Things get swapped around too often.
