VSS problem
My VSS broke today in the transmission. no damge to the trans just the shaft looked like it went in fine but i think since i've change my gears from red red to gray and lt blue that the gear is bigger and angling the rod alittle causing it to rub and thats while the first one broke. Now i know they make different ones for the car my question is which one do i need. D8A, D8B, annd so on. i have a D8E or N in there. there the same. i changed from a 2.73 rear to the 3.73. thanks for any help you can give me guys.

if the rod angled then it wasnt the rigth one or it didnt go in right...dont know why it wouldnt go but those things happen, as for the actual size of the gear you shouldve gottin 2...one for the speedo and one for the output shaft..they should match together as in compinsate for one being bigger and one being smaller
