My tranny has had problems for a couple of week now. When shifting into reverse it would make a grrrrrrr sound like it was slipping into gear. Tonight I lost everything except reverse and 1st. The only thing that has been done to the tranny is a corvette servo that was installed a few months ago. Anyway, I will probably install a new tranny. I was just wondering if anyone had installed a tranny from Netgearhead.com. Are they any good? Here is a link to one that they are selling on ebay. Take a look at it and tell me it is worth it. It will be either that one or one from Pro-bilt. I know a lot people like the Pro-bilt but there is quite a difference in the price. Also, does anyone have any suggestions on a torque convertor. I want to put in a 2800 stall convertor but I am not sure which manufacturer to buy it from.

I have about decided to go with a Pro-Built. I talked to Dana from Pro-Built and he is awesome. It was refreshing talking to someone about my car that really seemed to know his business. He took the time to explain some of the positives and negatives about the 700R4. I appreciated that, so I don't have a problem paying a little more to someone that will do the job right and he also builds a high quality transmission according to a lot of people on this board.
