Spoke with D&D Performance today...
They said that the Viper T-56 (converted to fit Chevys) is actually stronger and better than the TKO and the TKO-II.
Call me stupid but, I find that kinda hard to believe.
What do yall think?

Car: 92 Camaro RS
Engine: 350 Crate Motor
Transmission: Tremec TKO
Axle/Gears: 10 Bolt 3.73
Just read the article on that in new Chevy High Performance.
Seems like a great trans and only a little more $ than TKO.
Still, I'm very happy with my TKO.
I've heard many horror stories about the (gm type) T-56, which is why I bought the TKO, but it looks like the steel 3-4 fork in the D&D T-56 eliminates a major weakness.
Either trans is overkill for my application (317hp, 399 ft/lbs), but it seems like the D&D Viper T-56 is a nice unit.
Is it really stronger than the TKO?
I can't answer that, but that extra gear is nice.
