the aux vb ball is there and the one at rear of case is too because i believe thats the one that the video reminds me to put back in with vasoline.
i will put that pin back in as soon as i have time to but do u think that is the reason it will not shift? i thought the accumulator mainly helped the trans shift smoother.

also in the instructions it says to "grind this land flush all the way around" refering to the pr valve but the video does not mention that. i did it anyway so i hope thats a good thing.

Accumulator pistons usually have presure on one side of the piston or the other. If the pin is missing, then presure to one or more valve circuits is dumping presure through the pin bore. Most of the valves are interelated. If you have some valve stroked over because there is no balance presure on the other end, that would cause another valve to stroke over. Not sure what what occurs exactly in this instance, but blowing off a masive amount of presure through the accumulator pin bore could definatly do it.
Put the pin back in and try it out.

Re: After Transgo install no 2,3,or 4 gears
i put the pin in and was excited to find that the car now shifts. i drove it to work and back and there is still a problem. 1-2 shift is fine. firm and quick. 2-3 shift on the otherhand is not so good. it seems to hesitate alittle and when it shifts it is not completely in gear at first. if i drive at a normal, easy pace it shifts at a normal speed but it feels like its not all the way in gear. holding the gas steady after shift i notice it seems to shift again after about 1 sec as if the shift is sticking and it wasnt entirely engaged the first time. now if i punch it and let it shift at high rpm it doesnt feel right at all. it will shift but its not really in gear unless i let off the gas. holding the throttle after the shift it doesnt really pick up much speed and rpms wont climb much. if i let off and then then hit it it drives normal again.
now i played around for a little while and two different times with the gear selector in drive (automatic) i floored it from a slow crawl the rpms jumped to 4 or 5k real quick but it missed 1st when it tried to downshift from 2nd to 1st. that was early in my test drives and it hasnt done that since.
tell you what...this is giving me a headache!!
