B&M th350 trans kit

I am doing the swap, my buddy @ dealer says the 10034259 gm part # is no good. I got this number from the instruction sheet as to the outer bracket they say I need to order. Its not on gm parts direct either. Anyone have the same problem??? If so what was the solution??

Nope, you either have to scour the yards or modify the stock one which is what I did.

i also took and modifed my stock mount, i drilled out the rivets holding the rubber bushing to the orginal mount and used some screws to attach it to the new B&M mount that is attached to the tranny tailshaft, it has worked so far, have about 7 passes at the dragstrip too, so i think it will hold. Good luck

its the outer mount i'm concerned about. from the pics on the installation sheet, the stock one is kinda close to the part we're supposed to buy. the inner one is reusable

I cut my outer bracket and rewelded it, all it really needs to do is keep the bushing in place.

I used both parts of my old mount? The outter one was not the problem for me, it was the inner one that i had to modify, my car orginally had a t5 dont know if the mounts are different....

i called the guys from b&m today, not extremely helpful. however, they did mention that the bracket may have been off of the manual trannies (i'm guessing the t-5). all i need is the outter bracket. anyone not using a t-5 that can spare a bracket? please???

yeah... i also called the B&M guys they really dont know a whole loet all they know is the part number that they give you in the instructions, i did get that mount from the GM dealer and still have it, it was only like 9 bucks or something and i am pretty sure it is the same as the t5 one, i however did not end up using it, i used both the bushings off my stock t5 mount.
