U-joints
I'm looking to put some new u-joints in my stock driveshaft which the joints are the original ones.
What are some really good ones? Any specific names I should definately look for?
Can I pick them up at Auto Zone? Or another local auto store
If anyone has part numbers that'll be great.
Thanks

Car: Guess
Engine: Crazy 8
Transmission: So close to being a manual I can taste it
I would only use GM u-joints. If you are pushing some serious power or really push you car hard, you may want to upgrade, but that might mean a new 'shaft.

Under no circumstances would I use GM ones myself. GM doesn't make them, they just buy them. The only ones they actually make are for new cars; and since I lack the plastic injection molding equipment to re-fabricate their retainer, I would not use them.
Dana/Spicer, B-W, Neapco, are all good parts store type brands. Look for ones with more smaller needle bearings as opposed to fewer larger needles. And of course, most people would prefer ones with grease fittings for a street car, even though it slightly weakens the joint for a race application. Stay away from anything made in China.
