Speedometer Housing
I am looking for a Speedometer Housing for a THM 200C transmission. It is for an 82 Firebird. It is a black plastic housing. I live in Ireland where I have no easy access to spare parts or information. I have to order everything from the US or England. I ordered a housing from a GM dealer in England but they sent me the wrong type (a metal bullet shaped housing) and seem to be unable to find the correct one. I found a part number on the net but I need to see a diagram/picture to be sure that it is the correct type before I order. The part number is 25512339. Does anyone out there know where I would find a picture of this part or if this is the correct part number for the housing?.
Any Help Greatly appreciated,

What is the range of teeth cast into your old adapter? How many teeth are on the drive gear that it holds? Maybe one from a 700-r4 is the same size as your plastic unit. I have not looked at a 200c for years, and can't remember what it looks like. The "bullet" type your dealer ordered is probably for a 200-4r.

I think the TH200 takes the same housing as the TH350 but I'm not sure. What was wrong with the metal one you ordered? The original plastic housings were prone to breaking and were replaced by metal ones.
