T- 56 Iron shift forks?

I heard that the t-56 trans is stonger with the viper Iron shift forks. Has anybody done this, Where could I get the shift forks besides a viper. Also how hard would be to chage them. I want to do a 700r4 to t-56 swap but I'm worried about the strenght of the t-56. My freind had a ls1 t-56 that broke three times in as many years but he did beat on it.
Thanks
Kurt

Try LG motorsports or Lingenfelter. If I remember correctly Lingenfelter has a line on T-56 hard parts for road racers.
