9 i think, it's been a while since i had one empty. try 5 or 6 and check it, plus you'll have to bleed the air out to get an accurate indiaction on the dip stick.

Car: '94 Corvette
Engine: LT1
Transmission: 4L60E
A routine oil change is around 5 or so.

If it's dry, meaning freshly rebuilt with new converter, than like 'ede' said 9-13??? can remember either At least have a case ready...

At least dump 3 or 4 quarts, than start adding while the car is running so it can circulate. Don't overfill :nono: The oil will heat up, and begin to expand rising the level.

If fresh rebuild, put 1 quart in new convertor and 6 in tranny with stock pan, I believe, have to go back and count the left overs in the shop as I just did this a few weeks ago.

11 quarts in a 350? Sure your not talking about a 700r4 or something, hell I still got 5 bottles left in the brand new case when I installed my new 350.
