I have been thinking about picking up some drag radials to. So I will be watching his thread. All the research I have points to the BFGs being the better tire. You can check out the customer reviews at tirerack.com

Ive heard the BFGs hook better but are rated to last 1500miles and the Nittos last 15000miles or something like that. I say get the Nittos because they are a better bang for the buck.

my research says BFGs get better 60foot but wear more
you don't even want to think about BFGs if it will ever see rain.
Nittos are good for me.

BFg's are BARE MINIMUM DOT. They're not really a radial lets face it.... Go with the MT Et Streets if you're thinking about it
The nitto is a radial. Bottom line

The BFG's are a radial, no question about their construction. I have put about 6000 on mine so far and they still look OK. They are not a good idea for highway drives (mine get hot at 30psi on an extended highway drive)
Since you are talking 60ft times and still being streetable they will fill the bill. In chevy high performance this month they did tests between the different tires and next to a full blown slick, they have very respectable times. They found the best pressure is 11-12 PSI, any lower and they shake at the top end. Of course on the street 28-30 pounds will definatly add life. They stick like glue in the corners IMO unlike bias ply tires. I can't compare the Nitto Drag radial to the BFG's, I'm sure they both will work well. They both have a treadwear rating of 000 which doesn't inspire long life but what the hell
