Pro-Built or Transfixleo or others=Which one to use?

I'm finally getting around to fixing my speedo. I went from 2.77 rear gears to 3.42. I had a red drive gear w/ a blue driven gear for the 2.77's (stock). I went to the dealer and got a grey drive gear and a yellow driven gear which according to this site says is good for a 3.45 rear, close enough.

Part No. Teeth Color Sleeve*
25513042 35 Orange 25007338
25513043 36 White 25007338
25513044 37 Red 25007338
25513045 38 Blue 25007338
25513046 39 Brown 25007338
25513047 40 Black 25007339
25513048 41 Yello 25007339
25513049 42 Green 25007339
25513050 43 Purple 25007339
25513051 44 Dk Gray 25007339
25513052 45 Lt Blue 25007339

*Some applications may use Sleeve No. 25007224 or 10456092 in place of 25007338, or 25007308 or 1045089 in place of 25007339.

I have 2 questions:

1) I have a small "sleeve" from my stock speedo gears and a larger "sleeve" from Pro-Built when he sent the tranny. Which sleeve do I use without destroying the speedo gears?

Am I correct in assuming since my stock blue driven gear had a smaller sleeve that it is sleeve #25007338 as shown above? And does my new yellow driven gear require sleeve #25007339? If so, is sleeve #25007339 the larger one I got from Pro-Built?

2) The "rod" that the driven gear spins on is from my stock blue driven gear and I slid it on the new yellow driven gear. Is this ok? Does the new gear require a different rod b/c it seems to slide in and out of the new driven gear pretty easy.

One more question:

The new yellow driven gear is larger than the stock blue one. Does the sleeve compansate for this or what?

I know someone knows, we've had A LOT of people here do gear swaps. Is the #39 sleeve larger than the #38? Can I use the rod of the blue driven gear on the yellow one? Why is the yellow driven gear RIGHT next to the larger sleeve whereas the stock gear was not?

I looked at the numbers printed on the larger sleeve and my driven gear was listed on it. I tried everything out and it works. The rod also seems to be working fine.
