how and where to put trans sender in pan?
where do i put it in the pan? and whats best way to mount it in the pan? if you have any pics taht would be great later

I mounted mine in the cooler return line. I don't want to know how hot the oil is in the tranny but if the cooler is bringing the temperature down enough. Hot oil returning to the pan tells me it's not good enough.
There's nothing wrong with mounting it in the pan but you will need clearance checks. The valve body is usually very close to the pan.

I mounted my trans temp sender on the teturn line also. i bought the sender that jegs has for $40. it just mounts inline on the trans line that goes into radiator. i had a tranny cooler also . i didnt want a hole in my trans pan.
