Vibration at increased Speeds?
I have a 1992 Camaro RS 305. When I get up to speeds of 85 and higher my car starts to vibrate. I have new tires, shocks, and struts so I was wondering if it could be the drive shaft? If not what could it be and how do I fix it.

It could be alot of things....
Front wheels out of alignment, loose wheel bearings, bent rim, trashed torque converter, worn u-joints, dented driveshaft, worn slip yoke bushing in the tranny.
Try to use a 'process of elimination' approch. Inspect the driveshaft for damage, try to move it to test the u-joints (there should be very little play in the driveshaft, it's an aquired skill I guess because it will move some, but not because of the u-joints (if that makes sense...)
Also I heard of instances where road tar builds up unevenly on the driveshaft... sometimes a simple cleaning stops it.
Did this just happen out of the blue or was it right after a tire change? Did it progressivly get worse or did it happen all the sudden or right after hitting some bad road?
U joints are cheap but can be a PIA to change. Factory retainers need to be burned out (Plastic) the replacements have the common snapring.

I just put new tires, struts, and shocks on the car. I noticed it when i bought the car a few years ago, but just thought it was the tires. It only happens when i get up to speeds around 85 mph. I noticed today that when I pushed the clutch in as I was slowing down I could here a clicking noise (maybe the driveshaft). How much does a new driveshaft cost and where can I buy one or get the one I have checked out?
