Speedometer gears and t350
My 87 formula has electronic speedo and a turbo 350 trans. I'm going to switch rear ends from 2.73 to 3.23. According to the speedo calculators i need a 43 tooth purple driven gear. The drive gear is suppose to be the same. Now my question is ...are the driven gears for the speed sensor the same from 700r4 to t350? And do i need a different sleeve too? If they're not the same where can I get a t350 purple electronic driven gear?

Anytime you change to a larger than 38 tooth driven gear, you have to change the housing. In this case it is called an electronic Pulse Generator ( not a sleeve). I would recommend using a 15 tooth drive gear and the appropriate driven gear. (38 I think) Your chances of finding this combo are better than the other. Now for your question.....The 700r4 parts should fit. (if you have the 2" unit, and it sounds like you do)
