T56 swap, slave cylinder spacer?

I just purchasec a T56 out of 95 camaro and I am planning on swapping it with my T5. The T56 I bought didn't come with the hydraulics for the clutch. I ordered a hydraulic assembly, but my question is with regard to the spacer that goes between the slave cylinder and the bellhousing. Does this spacer come with my hydraulic assembly, or will I have to go to GM and buy one?

Yes it is available. I just bought one and they aren't very expensive. I have the part number at home and will post it as soon as I can if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Yup, my tranny didn't have it either, it's definitely a separate part, still available new from GM.

you might as well order the 2 bolts that hold it on the bellhousing. they are special bolts that cant be found in any store. the lower bolt will also hold the slave cylinder line as it goes back up the engine.

As I read this post it dawned on me...I KNEW there was supposed to be a spacer there! Dammit, the stupid bastard at the parts counter said he had no idea what I was talking about. I could tell when I was putting my slave on that the threads were clean at a certain point on those studs, that's as far as I tightened the nuts to hold the slave in, it works great, but now I'm all kindsa pissed about it. I knew they wouldn't just leave it open like that. I'm going back there today, I'm gonna rip that guy's ***.

6 years later and this part is discontinued. Anyone know where I can find one?
