Go to www.lt1intake.com. John Millican has intakes already modified or you can send one to him to have it modified.

And if your car needs an EGR valve (smog check) you are SOL.
BTW there are dudes running 11's with the LTR (no power adder), go here and see

LT1 Intake Question:
What will the loss in torque and the gain in horsepower
( on a percentage basis) be from switching from a run
of the mill modified TPI compared to switching to the
basically stock sized LT1 intake that would replace it?
Does John Millican @ www.lt1intake.com do any
modifications to the LT1 Intake besides what
is necessary to convert from TPI, ie. enlarge the ports?

He enlarges the intake port to take up to a 58mm. throttle body, which is a pretty nice feature! I plan on ordering one of his manifolda very soon, as soon as money permits!

BLUEIROC5.7, back to your original question. Yes the intake will work on your car, but as far as a huge hp gain, you need to swap heads and cam, to take advantage of the intake design. If you plan on modding the motor extensively it does make sense to buy the intake you will ultimately need. Remember, each time you swap out a component that is restricting airflow, look for next most restrictive all the way to the combustion chamber. With more air you also need more fuel, so that has to be included in the plan. Also, more mods dictate a change to chip parameters. Setting a goal for the car and balancing the mods is important to making you car fast.
