air foil

I'd say little, its more of a piece of mind knowing your air isn't being devided by a big block/square.
It might pay off more for heavier modified engines.
I should take mine off some day and see if i can even notice its missing, if you ever buy an aftermarket throttle body they already have one there, nice and smooth air transition.

Don't expect a noticable HP gain or anything. If anything I noticed slightly smoother throttle, but its just peace-of-mind (like tpi_roc said )

I have the same car, and I have the SLP airfoil. I couldn't really tell any perfromance difference, but like everyone else says, it certainly can't hurt.

I noticed a slightly better throttle response, and better idle with the air foil... nothing impressive, but it does help. Worth it for the money in my opinion.
As far as installation goes, it's so easy. It should come with directions, but if not.. here you are:
Step 1: Detach the Dual Snorkel from the air box and throttle body (you'll need a phillips head flat screwdriver).
Step 2: Remove the air lid plate from on top of the plenum. The plate has the words "Tuned Port Injection" on it (you'll need a torqbit screwdriver).
Step 3: Insert the small metal backing stub into the groove (I believe there is only one place it can fit properly, should be obvious), then line up the air foil in the throttle body, and direct the screw through the foil and TB, into the backing stub (this part can be tricky, I had trouble lining em up, but finally it got in...)
Step 4: Insert the gasket into the lid (should be obvious)
Step 5: Close everything up, you're done.

personal opinion here, slp's is the best for the money. its cheap and mounts the same as tpis and they all have the same design. if you can tell a difference between you car with one or without then you have a really sensetive butt or you spend way to much time at WOT.
