This info may not be helpful to you since my vehicle is a SS Monte Carlo with 350 TPI. But on my swap that vacuum line goes to the HVAC vacuum line and the vacuum ball.

very possible considering one vacuum canister is on the trash with a hole in it and the new one is on a shelf...

yeah, the whole vacuum system on this car was/is a mess. the vacuum lines and the windshield washer lines were all mixed up, I got the washer lines straightened out but there appear to be to many check valves and to many T's. I'm thinking I may be better off taking all of the vacuum lines out and starting all over
