TPI Intake Porting Questions

I have a 350 roller block with an LT4 Hot Cam, AFR 195 heads, headers and 1.6 roller rockers. Car is also getting a T56 and 3.42 rear.

I have a stock base, stock plenum and Accel runners.

What should I port/Siamese? I cannot weld aluminum. I was planning on siamesing the base and intake. Then siamesing a inch or two in both ends of the runners.

Is this a good idea?
What advice can you offer?

Re: TPI Intake Porting Questions

Just do the top side of the runners down as far as you can go. The stock base will need a LOT of port work.

Re: TPI Intake Porting Questions

Thanks for the help. Thanks for also not suggesting an alternative intake.

Re: TPI Intake Porting Questions

While I am no expert I have been porting a stock base for awhile and have just started welding on it. I followed the walls and was amazed how much I got out of it. Top and bottom sides there is a lot there. Keep at it an take your time and I would be interested in your outcome. Dan
