TPI MAF vs MAP/ TPI swap questions
so I picked up a TPI set up out of a 89 Camaro and it's the MAF style as apposed to the MAP style which I have been running what are the differences obviously that sensor but are there any other sensors, are the ecu's tune-able like the one out of my 91 I don't the ecu numbers off the top of my head.
Swap question:
I have the heads intake and harness what all sensors but the knock sensor are in the intake correct how do I put in a knock sensor into the block, also the block it's going on is in a 78 C10 so the cam isn't even close to fuel injection do I have to swap that out or since its MAF setup will it still work if I do have to change a cam what would be the best one for the truck I am planning on making it my tow rig so looking for the torquey as possible, plus I don't understand carberation it's voodo magic that doesn't make sense to me
Vats: the whole reason the car was parted out was because they couldn't get past the vats, how can I by pass that or tune it out of the ecu
Fuel pump I have used the ones before where they replace the pumps in the tank but this truck doesn't have in the tank plus it has 2 tanks , but other than that unless I am overlooking something should be a fairly simple and worth while conversion
