Cold start valve fuel line removal - Help ME!

1987 305 IROC - TPI - auto trans
Trying to fix a fuel leak at the back of the rail (driver side) the small hard line for the cold start valve. Can anyone give me any help on how to remove that fuel line? Should I remove the cold start valve first?
I have a factory service manual, but it just states to remove the line, nothing on how-to remove it.

There is a nut on the line where it connects to the back of the fuel rail. May need to move stuff around to get to it. Maybe someone can chime in with a pic to help too.
