Stock TPI manifold with RPM heads
Anyone here knows, if the stock TPI-manifold fits the Edelbrock Performer RPM heads? My heads have the 195cc intake runners. Does the intake cover the ports etc? I know they're not the best match performance wise, but that's an option that I have. I've got no money, for an aftermarket hi-flow TPI-system right now.

You need to measure the ports on the heads to be sure someone hasn't opened them up. Also need to measure to be sure I'm right (if no one else that has those chimes in), but I THINK all the RPM heads are sized around a 1205 gasket 2.09"x 1.25". Assuming that's the case, a stock intake can be port matched and cover a 1205 opening.

The problem with the 350 is that I think it's a bit too rough for the stock TPI. It's got the RPM cam in it with RPM Air Gap manifold, 650 DP Holley and 10.2:1 compression. I would really like to use the stock TPI instead of the carb, but I think I'll have to, at least get a prom burned, headers fitted and swap in a milder cam.

Re: Stock TPI manifold with RPM heads
Too much cam and heads that are choked by the intake manifold are miserable.
Save up and put together a good combination of parts, instead of a green striped tie with a pink polka dot suitcoat.
A shortblock that will happily shift at 6500 choked by a TPI intake isn't really going to be fixed by a PROM & headers. Yes, a milder cam will help.

I may have to revert to the original plan of using the carb on it, but that brings up other issues, emissions being the biggest worry. Or I might just leave it for now and get my father to re-evaluate how far he wants to go with the car.
Thanks for the advice!
