L98?
Hey all!
Anybody know what the L98 option means for my 88 IROC-Z 350? I cant find anything on the web and I'm currently deployed so I can't do a whole lot of research. Tango!

Re: L98?
Option B2L is the 350 tuned port engine option in f-bodies. L98 is the 350 tuned port engine option for the C4 corvettes. Most people refer to the 350 tuned port as the L98.
The L98 debuted in f-bodies in 1987 with cast iron cylinder heads. L98 debuted in the corvette in 1985. I'm not exactly sure but I think in 1986 the aluminum heads were an option on the corvette. F-bodies never got an aluminum cylinder head option.
