So...I'm putting gas in 87 TA and hear about two gallons drop on the floor.
I look and I have a line just letting it go....
It isn't the main or return but a third... which I thought was just a vent...

So question, so I don't think my GF is tryn to kill me...
Why....
Now I have digital dash, which shows low on gas and I highly doubt I filled the car up, plus I thought it would overflow out of the neck and that this third line is for Evac system....of course its been removed (before me)...

So I guess I'm just dumb founded why it would do this all the sudden...I've had tank at 1/2 and no issues before

Me...I think

A:some one tryn to kill me
B: tank is full and my digital is whicked off
C: I got a new and serouse issues.

OK ...finally got under car enough to say bits the vent line (pretty sure) leaking gas....no check valve on it at all...open line, but still why the sudden gas leak...any fixes? Check valve?

 

Did you ever find the fix to your problem? Or should we all worry option A has happened?
