replace MAF or not
Good day, I had a issue with my car, long story short it appears the heads are not correct, and the bracket that holds the tensioner idler (connects to the ac delete bracket) is missing the bolt that connects to the pass side head, this caused my ac delete pulley to break off and cause some damage while driving
My MAF sensor now has a hole in the bottom, no check engine code yet, but i do have a rough idle when started till warm now and if i unplug the MAF it runs like it should, except for higher idle
my question, do i need a new MAF even though i got no check engine light, and no codes ?
many thanks in advance

Ive heard more than once that gm parts are being sourced from over seas company, then stamping there name on the and not even bothering to change the part numbers from gm techs. Granetelli seems to make decent mass air flow sensors, only heard first plug and drive stories, not sure about long term but they aren't 1,000 dollar possible knocks offs either

I have been using a granatelli maf for about two years now and haven't had any problems. A lot of people complain about them but I haven't had any problems with tuning.
